Hello everybody, and welcome to Iris’s blog. You’re probably thinking, “Who the heck is writing right now?” Well my name is Paige and I run the blog called ‘Building My Throne’. This week Iris and I decided it would be fun to do a guest appearance on each other’s blogs!

Here are some facts about me before I start writing
1.)  I have only been blogging for about a year and a half
2.)  I live in Canada (yes it’s freezing)
3.)  I ride horses
4.)  I’m pretty short
5.)  I’m in my second year of college (studying journalism)
6.)  I like to end lists on an even number

I have thought this whole week about what I wanted to write about for this blog post, but nothing was coming to my mind but recently I have become addicted to thinking about the concept of the world. So I thought, why not write about that?

            Right now I’m at the age where I’ve been in school for most of my life. And as mentioned in my list of facts I’m currently in school right now for journalism, and loving it but I can’t help to think why? What is this all for? We go to elementary school to get to high school, go to high school to get to post-secondary and then hopefully get a job in our field of study. But then what? I guess there’s always the option for upgrading, and promotion but then what? There has to be more than life, and the world than just school and work.

            Maybe I’m just an unaware 20 year old who hasn’t figured it out yet, or maybe I’m just too much of a victim of my own mind and thoughts. Regardless, I hope I figure it out eventually.

Hey hey hey! How are you all? So, it's Sunday! my quarantine thus far as told through tv shows.

  Hello! Long time no see, haha oops. It's been a minute. So today, I wanted to do a mini recap on my fave shows so far since quarantine! I'm sure I'm not alone in watching significantly more netflix since quarantine began lol. However, I wanted to give it a bit of a twist. So without further ado, I give you my quarantine thus far, as told through TV shows. Friends/The Goodwife - March/April/May Okay this is back when quarantine first began. My life consisted of watching Friends, doing schoolwork, procrastinating, doing more schoolwork, watching the Goodwife, and studying for exams. I can't actually remember which one I watched first - I think I watched them together. Luckily by this time there wasn't too much schoolwork left haha. But I watched all of both these shows those 3 months...I was a bit obsessed if you can't tell. But the episodes for friends were only 20ish minutes long! I would 100% recommend both of these shows though, amazing pieces of work.  10/1

School Supplies Haul/School Essentials!

HEYY!! So in light of school starting super soon, I thought I'd do a school supplies haul. Who else is pumped for school? CAUSE I AM!! I always am at this part of the summer haha. I'm ready to get back into it, and start seeing everyone more often. SO without further ado, LET'S GET ON WITH THIS POST!!!! ALRIGHTY! So the first item on my list is obviously...binders. That is an essential for every class. I have used the same binders for a few years now, and they're just the clear plastic cover ones, all different colours. I have blue, black, pink, orange, red, purple and white ones. And what's really exciting to me is that I HAVE MATCHING NOTEBOOKS!!!! (Well...for most of them.) THEY ARE THE SAME COLOUR!!! For example: Blue notebook=blue binder. IT'S GREAT.  OKAAAY FOR THE NEXT ITEM. Highliters  and pens. I just got a fresh supply since mine are running out.  I use these so often, so it's great to have even more. I like to colour c
