Hey guys!! How are you all? My week was crazy. I was busy and sick this past week...let's hope that's all over soon though. I had to bail on a lot in order to get better, and I felt super bad about that...but I needed that time off to recover. There's a sickness going around right now, I don't know if any of you have caught it, but most people I know have been sick unfortunately...including me :( I'm feeling much better now, though! Song Of The Day: Ours (by Taylor Swift) - GO LOOK IT UP ON YOUTUBE. It's so good. It's catchy, happy, and puts me in an all around good mood. Anyways. I was at the library after school one day doing homework and all of a sudden I was like "OMG. I'm in a library, I should check out some books!" And my friend was like "LOL okay go ahead, you should"... so I did. I finished the first one Friday night. It was so good oh my goodness. It's called "We Were Liars" and it's about this gi

Hello everybody, and welcome to Iris’s blog. You’re probably thinking, “Who the heck is writing right now?” Well my name is Paige and I run the blog called ‘Building My Throne’. This week Iris and I decided it would be fun to do a guest appearance on each other’s blogs! Here are some facts about me before I start writing 1.)   I have only been blogging for about a year and a half 2.)   I live in Canada (yes it’s freezing) 3.)   I ride horses 4.)   I’m pretty short 5.)   I’m in my second year of college (studying journalism) 6.)   I like to end lists on an even number I have thought this whole week about what I wanted to write about for this blog post, but nothing was coming to my mind but recently I have become addicted to thinking about the concept of the world. So I thought, why not write about that?             Right now I’m at the age where I’ve been in school for most of my life. And as mentioned in my list of facts I’m currently in school right n

Heeey y'all. Sorry I'm late again :/ I always think I'll have time to post on the weekends but I always have too much homework D: I have a little time now though, so I thought I'd try and post :) It's that time of year. It's dreary, dark, wet/snowy (depending on where you live I guess haha), and it seems to be a common theme, to lose inspiration during winter. BUT NO MORE!!! For I have come to you with 7 tips on staying inspired throughout winter!!! SO LEGGO!!! :) 1. Set goals. If you have something to work towards, I think it's much easier to get through these months. But even better, set goals that make you excited to get up in the morning. And write them down!! I'm going to do that right now in fact - and you should too. Scroll down to the comments and put 'em in, we can support each other in our endeavours to reach our full potential :) Okay so for the winter (so from now - January - until, like, March) my

School is starting up again (or for many, has started up already). I just started today! Back at it again. The break was so nice, but now it's time to get back in it and start workin' hard again! So because of this, I thought I'd try and help you all out with this post: how to start your day motivated!! So without further ado, let's get into it!! For my first tip, I'd say, go to the light first thing . Open up your curtains, and look outside for a few minutes. It'll make a world of difference, trust me. The sun just has a way of waking you up, y'know? Tip number two, is to have a healthy breakfast . This is really good to give you energy to start your day. You don't want to get halfway through and be hungry! So have a good, healthy, full breakfast (I will do another post on that
